Our molded rubber is specifically designed to give you true cold air. The air filter is sealed to the Air Box preventing the engine heat from robbing you of horse power. Green provides the little features that make the big difference when you want to make power. Pleats of strength. Green Filters are constructed with coated steel mesh for extra strength and durability. Steel mesh makes Green much more dent resistant and hold up to many more cleanings.
Precision Production
Other filters use a simple pressure molded injection process to bond the perimeter rubber to the interior components. That method saves manufacturing time, but in the process, a considerable amount of rubber can seep onto the filtering surface. While it may not look like much, that spill-over rubber is wasteful and can restrict as much as 25% of the intended air flow. Green, on the other hand, uses a time-consuming, and costlier, 4-step production process which virtually eliminates seepage, is environmentally conscious and maintains maximum air flow through the filter.
