This module adds a 12 Volt power Outlet to the Prius. The Toyota Prius has two 12 Volt power outlets, one inside the console and one in the dash. When the car is turned off both of these outlets are inactive and cannot be used as a constant source of power. This module will allow the front power outlet to be available for use at all times with no extra power drain. None of the other systems are affected in any way. With the front outlet continuously active, any accessory can be utilized. The front and console power outlet fuses will remain intact and continue to protect their respective outlets. Also small solar panel can be easily attached to maintain the 12 Volt battery or for use in jumping the car should the 12 Volt battery become discharged.

The enclosure fits beneath the trunk deck and above the spare tire so no trunk space is lost. Additionally, hydraulic shocks allow the enclosure to pivot out of the way for easy spare tire access.
