The Neo Cradle has a female 30pin iPod dock connector on the back of it. Take your iPod cable and plug it in, it’s that simple. You will continue to get crystal clear, CD quality sound. There are other cradle’s available in the market that sell for $49.99 but don’t have a built in dock connector or video out, our Neo Cradle is only $10 more. Additional Features:
With the Neo Cradle, we have added a video output on the back of the cradle. Now you can not only connect the audio portion but also the video side of the iPod. As you can see in the picture, the back of the cradle has a video jack. Connect the appropriate video cable (not included) to that jack and the other end into any video input in your car and see iPod video on the display. No need to move the iPod, unplug and replug things in.
Use and Control:
Attaching cradle to an iPod adapter:
- The cradle plugs into the iPod cable and allows for an easy dock station in the vehicle. The cradle doesn’t add or take away any features or functions of the iPod adapter. It’s a simple pass through so power, charging, control and audio will be the exact same when the iPod is connected to the cradle.
Using cradle as a video docking station:

The cradle can be used entirely by itself, it does not need to be paired with an iPod adapter. If you have a Video/Rear Seat Entertainment System in your car (anything with a video input) and you want to display your iPod videos and pictures on the display, the Neo Cradle is the perfect tool to do this. Just connect the video cable (not included) from the cradle to the video input in your car. You may also want to use an iPod power cable (not included) so that the iPod is powered and charged. You can use any iPod cable in the market, and example would be an iPod cable that connects into a cigarette lighter or one that attaches to a power line in the car.
The Neo Crade is compatible with all iPods with a dock connector on the bottom. It comes with interchangeable molds for the specific iPod you own. The fit is exact and custom, it doesn’t squeeze together like most of the generic iPod holders. Each mold is specific to the iPod size and dimensions and it comes with ALL the molds so if you change your iPod, you can change the mold.
How does the cradle install:
There are many ways to install the Cradle in your car, the back of the cradle’s mounting surface has the universal mounting pattern used by ALL companies. Do not worry about whether the holes will match up to the bracket you purchase.
